Dan Donath re-joined CRA's European Competition Practice as a senior consultant at the end of 2009, after two years as a member of the chief economist's team in DG Competition at the European Commission. During his time in the chief economist's team he has worked on a number of merger reviews (including several Phase II investigations), Article 81 and other cases, thus complementing the experience previously gained at CRA since 2004. Dr. Donath's strong expertise is in the application of empirical analysis and econometric techniques in the context of competition investigations.
